Individual entries are £30, and families (max 2 adults and 2 children) £50, with discount for current members of CANI
The event is a fun, 2 day paddle along the beautiful Lower Bann river from Portglenone to Drumaheglis in canoes or kayaks. You don’t have to be a good swimmer or a seasoned paddler, as you’ll be looked after throughout the event by a team of qualified coaches and leaders from the Co. Antrim Paddle Sports Club, who will be there to ensure that you are safe and enjoy the journey.
We will be camping overnight at Movanagher Lock, just north of Kilrea. There’s always a great atmosphere around the campfire, and hammocks hanging from the trees for the children (and the big kids, too!) to play in.
We can supply a limited number of canoes and equipment. All we ask is that you raise a minimum amount of £35 sponsorship for our charity, NI Chest, Heart & Stroke, in lieu of boat and equipment rental.
We encourage all participants to raise money for our chosen charity, NI Chest Heart & Stroke. Sponsorship forms and Just Giving page will be available to help you with this.
It’ll be FUN for everyone, regardless of age or experience!!
