About The Event

Dinghy sailing in beautiful Newcastle at the foot of the Mournes. Join a small group of six in a safe, supportive, and friendly environment. Receive 12 hours of instruction and guidance and rediscover the fun of getting out on the water.
The event comprises three 4-hour sessions.
Participants will have the opportunity to build on skills gained in previous sessions at NYC. Participants will move between one- and two-handed dinghies and the Club’s RIB so they can learn both from hands-on experience and observing each other. Participants will receive instruction and guidance from a qualified instructor.

Our objectives are fun on the water and increasing participants’ confidence in handling small dinghies.
