Take in the scenery around Lough Erne as you try your hand at Stand Up Paddleboarding with Erne Paddlers. This is a fast growing paddle sport providing a great fun core work out with the possibility of getting wet!
On arrival you will be kitted out with all the necessary equipment and given a safety briefing and introduction, and then it will be time to get onto your boards and get paddling! Instructors will be close by to keep a watchful eye throughout the session and provide any tips on improving your technique.

Provided are the SUP boards and paddles, helmets and buoyancy aids. The session on the water will be approximately 50 mins with the rest of the time spent on kitting out, safety brief and basic information on SUP. A qualified instructor will be there to lead the session.
It is preferable to wear a wet/dry suit, although any sportswear such as running leggings and lycra that doesn’t hold water (no denim) and a light water proof jacket should there be cold windy conditions will be adequate.
Towel and change of clothes essential as you are likely to get wet! Changing room and warm showers at the canoe centre.
Suitable for 8 years old and upwards.
Sessions take place at the Canoe Centre on Castle Island Enniskillen. Drive into the Lakeland Forum; you can drive down past the children’s play park and on towards the Castle. There is car parking space near the concrete jetty opposite the canoe centre. Please arrive 15 mins before the session to sign in.
